Updates...

So I got a call today!!! My "home" for the summer will be on-site, so I can simply roll out of bed and skip into work! Also my home is basically a 2 bedroom apartment. It will be set up like a dorm so I will have a roommate, so there will be four people living with me. We will have our own bathroom and full kitchen, for which they will provide pots and pans and other kitchen stuff. I assume there will be a living room area there too. It sounds great!!! My roommates will more than likely be international students. (there Brandon) So i get to learn about them too! Also they should be working the regular park hours, 11-8, and so I will be able to get up early enough to get a shower before them, and get home before them.

To remind everyone (Josh) I leave around May 19th, although I may leave a day or two before and I will return near the end of July. I would love to have any of you come to visit, but with this new information, please do not assume you can stay with me. lol. Also I need a little help with the plane tickets and all the other plans. I don't want anyone to do it for me(mom), but I know many of you travel often and might have a few ideas. I just need to know where to look because searching plane tickets on google is taking me no where. Also Josh since you are used to these kind of things can you tell me how early you think I should get there. The boss asked me to come in on May19th, so I figured I should fly in on the 18th. Is a day enough time?

Welp just fyi classes are going good. Just got high Bs on my 2 exams last week and I am studying hard for my 2 this week. Work is good and I'm working hard. Also any cards, packages, or emails are very appreciated. Hope you guys are having fun! God bless.

Getting used to the Idea...

I decided to begin this blog page to tell about my summer. I recently found out that I have the chance to go to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey for an Accounting Internship! I am so excited! I figure while I'm bored and alone, I can blog and let my family know how its going and so that I will always have some way to remember it. The park is 11 hours from my home in Louisville, KY, and 11 hours from my family and my boyfriend. I can't believe that I will be out on my own, without family or my honey. My mom cried when she find out, but I know its just because she is happy for me.

My own feelings are all over the place. Of course I am happy and uber excited!!! I can't wait to leave. But at the same time I'm a person who plays it safe so I'm worried and scared. I know I can get over that feeling once I am there and know whats going on. It is going into the unknown that freaks me out. My major feeling is sadness. I am not sad about leaving my family(sry mom) b/c I am usually away from them while I am at school. I am sad that I have to leave Brandon. I know I am not going to stay just because I might miss him, I'm a stronger woman than that, but I know that I will miss him all the same. Enough of that! lol(sry Brandon)

About the park!!!
Six Flags Great Adventure is a HUGE park with the tallest, fastest rollercoaster in the world, Kingda Ka. I am going to ride Kingda Ka a million times this summer, I can't wait!. The park is also near it's own waterpark and an animal park. At least I have a place to have fun, swim and get tan, and see tons of animals. Plus thats three days of my trip planned out!!! The park is about 50 miles from Philly and around 60 from NYC. I can't wait to see both! My living place will be "on-site." I'm not exactly sure what that means, but when I find out I'll write a blog. The guy I talked to from the park called it a bunker, which scares me but we'll see!

Well I have homework to do so stay tuned. There will be plenty to read as the summer begins and runs through. My departure date will be on or near May 19th! Byes
